Six Spooktacular Halloween Recipes You Gotta Try!

Halloween is almost here which means it’s time to start picking out costumes, binge-watching scary movies, and eating some Halloween treats. But you and the kids might be tired of the same old variety-sized fun pack.

Why not mix it up this year and try some new treats?

These six Halloween recipes are perfect for a Halloween movie night, a costume party, or even entertaining the kids in the kitchen.

 1.    Halloween Bark

Ingredients

·      2 cups vanilla Greek yogurt

·      Cocoa Crunch Whole Food Topper

·     Halloween candy (optional)

Instructions

·      Spread 2 cups vanilla Greek yogurt in an even layer on a ¼ Sheet Pan.

·      Sprinkle with Cocoa Crunch Whole Food Topper and Halloween candy (optional).

·      Freeze 2-3 hours.

·      Break into pieces.

·      Enjoy immediately or store in a container in the freezer.

 2.    Pumpkin Pie Dip

 Ingredients

·      1 brick of cream cheese, softened

·      2 cups powdered sugar

·      ½ cup plain Greek yogurt

·      1 cup canned pumpkin

·      2 tsp pumpkin pie spices

·      1 tsp Cinnamon

·      1 cup plain whipped cream

Instructions

·      Beat the cream cheese and sugar, until well mixed.

·      Add the pumpkin, yogurt, and spices.

·      Carefully fold in the whipped cream.

Tip: Serve with graham crackers, gingersnaps and pear slices.

3.    Caramel Apples

Ingredients

·      1 pkg Caramel Sauce Mix (Pack of 2)

·      ½ cup butter, melted

·      ½ cup creamed honey

·      Cocoa Crunch or Tutti Fruity Whole Food Toppers (optional)

Instructions

 ·      In a microwave, melt your butter in the Multipurpose Steamer.

 ·      Add in your Caramel Sauce and honey.

·      Cook for 30 seconds, stir until smooth and combined.

·      Cook for 3 minutes max to reach the “hardball” stage.

·      Coat or drizzle your apples.

·      Top with Cocoa Crunch or Tutti Fruity Whole Food Toppers.

4.    A Boo-tiful Graveyard

Ingredients

·      oil, for greasing pan

·      2 eggs

·      1⁄2 cup vegetable oil

·      1 pkg Chocolate Bliss Brownie Mix (Pack of 2)

Instructions

·      Preheat oven to 350° F.

·      Place Perfect Petites on a Sheet Pan. Using a basting brush, generously brush with oil.

·      In a bowl, whisk eggs with oil. Stir in mix; evenly divide batter in perfect petites.

·      Bake for 15–18 min. Cool in pan 5 min, then pop out.  

5.    Krispie-Crawly Steamer Squares

Ingredients

·      1 pkg mini marshmallows

·      ¼ cup butter

·      ½ tsp vanilla

·      6 cups cereal

 Instructions

·      Microwave marshmallows, butter and vanilla for 2 minutes in the Multipurpose Steamer with the lid on.

·      Add 6 cups of cereal and stir.

·      Let set and enjoy!

6.    Count Chocula Cupcakes

Ingredients

·      1 cup unsweetened soy or nut milk

·      1⁄3 cup oil + more for oiling

·      1 tsp apple cider vinegar

·      1 pkg Chocolaty Temptation Cupcake Mix (Pack of 2)

·      Count Chocula cereal, gummy worms & candy corn (optional)

Instructions

  1. Generously oil two Muffin Makers.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together milk, oil, vinegar, and mix.

  3. Divide batter evenly into pans, filing cavities approximately 2⁄3 full.

  4. In two batches, microwave on high for 2 min 30 sec. Rest in pan 5 min; invert onto wire rack to cool. Or bake in preheated 350° F oven, 15–18 min. Cool in pan 10 min; unmold.

  5. When completely cool, spread on icing & decorations, if desired.
