Get this—Epicure Consultant Jacinthe Freeman needed to show up in a big way to save the life of her ailing brother Alex—and good food helped her get there. When Alex needed a liver transplant, Jacinthe didn’t blink an eye and jumped on-board to lose 40 pounds to qualify as a donor. No stranger to the #EpicLife Challenge—she had started and stopped the 90-day lifestyle program a few times before—Jacinthe knew she had to go all-in to get the results she needed to help Alex.

By eating three meals a day, adding in exercise, and journaling to stay on-track, Jacinthe was able to get her health in control and develop new habits to change her life and the life of her brother.

Jacinthe and Alex underwent surgery in December 2019 and both are doing well post-recovery, although it is a journey in itself. When asked if she would go through the process again, Jacinthe adamantly says, “1,000 times, yes”.
