#Trending: Crowd Saucing
We love dips and sauces at Epicure. They’re a great way to layer on flavour for sandwiches, wraps, burgers, sharing boards, and more! So, when we heard about a new trend called Crowd Saucing – mixing two dips and/or sauces together – we jumped on board! We made Hanch, Hummamole, and Wasabioli—saucy names for over-the-top flavour. Check them out:
Hanch
Hot sauce + ranch
This dip combines hot sauce (we used store-bought Valentina hot sauce from Mexico) and our Creamy Ranch Dip—classic ranch flavour with chives and tangy buttermilk.
We mixed 1 cup of prepared Creamy Ranch with about ¼ cup of Valentina. Play with the ratios to make it as spicy as you like it. Use Hanch for burgers, dipping pizza crusts, and for wraps and sandwiches.
Hummamole
Hummus + guacamole
Creamy Garlic Hummus and Guacamole our two of our fan faves, so why not combine them to make one EPIC dip! This one’s super easy. Make Creamy Garlic Hummus and Guacamole and stir them together. Dip, dunk, and slather Hummamole with fresh veggies, crackers, and on burgers, and sandwiches. YUM!
Wasabioli
Wasabi + Garlic Aioli
This one is a mash-up of wasabi and garlic aioli—easy peasy! Make Garlic Aioli according to directions and add in 1-2 tsp. of wasabi depending on how much bite you like. Use this sauce on burgers, sushi bites, sandwiches, and wraps.
