Roast turkey and baked ham have made a name for themselves as classic holiday dishes. It’s time to shine the spotlight on the sides! We’ve rounded up our best recipes to serve alongside your main this holiday season.

Serve a big, beautiful salad (or two!). While you might be scoffing at the idea of salad during the holidays, we’re talking entertaining-worthy, delicious greens that go beyond opening a package of Spring Mix. Ideal for mashed potatoes. Peel and chop potatoes; place in steamer and cover with cold water. When you’re ready to cook, simply drain, cook, mash, and serve in the steamer.
Prep your salad ingredients ahead of time, and store in the steamer. Dress it just before serving and gently toss with the lid on. Tip: store your salad with heavy ingredients on the bottom, like beets or nuts, and top with greens.
Reheat sides you prepared ahead of time, like veggies or gravy.
